What got you into BMX?
BMX was a great way to stay in shape for baseball season or basketball season when I wasn’t playing those sports. It helped keep my endurance up.
How has racing changed from then to now?
I now race professional and put all my training into BMX racing and focus on becoming a better rider each and every day.
What’s the best place BMX has taken you?
To the Redline Factory Team.
What is your favorite track and why?
River Valley BMX during the outdoor season because it is a long track with challenging obstacles and with such a small starting hill all your speed is self generated which I think shows how great of a rider you really are. Penninsula Indoor BMX during the indoor season because its such a short track with tight corners so it takes a really strong rider to get around that track at full speed.
Favorite Athletes (in BMX or any sport):
Teamate Sam Willoughby because he is so strong and mentally focused in BMX and can handle the pressure in any situation like at World or the Grands.
What are your hobbies outside of BMX?
I really enjoy lifting weights and playing random sports with my friends during the off time
Thank you mom and dad for always pushing me to get better not only in BMX but in life to help me become the person that I am today! If it wasn’t for them pushing me and making me want to get better as I was growing up then I would never have imagined being where I am today!
