What got you into BMX? Did you begin riding dirt, park, racing or what?
I began racing in 1995 at my local track in Idaho Falls, ID and one of my friends took me to the local trails later that year and I was instantly hooked.
How has riding changed from then to now?
I raced for years and turned A pro in 2004 and didn’t really enjoy it as much as I used too. That kind of pushed me away from racing and into freestyle full time. I have always ridden dirt mostly and enjoyed riding everything else as well, but dirt really is my favorite thing to ride for sure.
What’s the best place BMX has taken you?
I have been lucky enough to travel to lots of places with my bike, 2 highlights for me so far has been Germany in 2009 and Costa Rica last year!
What is your favorite trick and why?
This is always changing for me but currently I would have to say I really enjoy 360′s the most because they are different on every jump and doing them opposite makes it a completely different trick.
If you could own a spot, which one and why?
I had so much fun last time I went to the Kitchen skatepark in Indiana I would have to say I could ride there for a really really long time beforeI would need to change anything.
Favorite Athletes (in BMX or any sport):
I would have to say Travis Pastrana as far as an all around athlete, he has taken his success and done so much with it and has been able to take a huge crew of riders with him to his elite status. On a BMX bike I can’t think of anyone who does it better in my opinion that Jaie Toohey.
What are your hobbies outside of BMX?
Anything with handlebars is fair game as far as I’m concerned, MTB, Dirt bikes, Quads, Pit bikes……
Other than a huge thank you to everyone who has helped me in the past and still does I want to give an extra huge shout out to Redline for helping me out for so many years you guys have been awesome and I can’t wait to keep repping for years to come!
