Dagenham Bmx club hosted rounds 3 & 4 of the UK Bmx national race series, which is the first time dagenham Bmx club has hosted a national event. Weather was ok and track was looking good.


Time for racing

Day 1

Alan Hill starts off with some cruiser action in 35-39 men and from start to finish Alan never lost a race and raked up more points for the team.  Emily Hutt National No.1 rider continued to win every race on day 1 in the 7-8yr girls taking her 3rd national win for 2011. Other national wins came from Andy Clucas and Valerie Zebrokova. Championship Women rider Ayesha McLelland fought well in a tough class and came in a repectable 3rd on day 1.

Day 2

Sunday was a very windy day and this was catching a lot of riders out, but even with the tough riding conditions this did not stop consistant Hilly from taking a double win in cruiser and 20” Masters. 30+ Ladies cruiser rider Abi Hill hit the turbo button in the final came 2nd. 13-14yr female rider Valerie had a tough day battling with the strong winds and after a bad start in the final Valerie colided with another rider and did not finish the race. Best race of the day came from the Championship Women and Ayesha fought all the way to the line to grab her first win of the national series.
