FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

2012 Redline Conquest Team

2012 Redline Conquest Pro

Redline unveiled not just one new Carbon ‘Cross bike at Sea otter, but it was a “one two punch” with both the Conquest Team and Pro getting the new Redline Carbon Technology (RCT) treatment. Redlines engineer Kurt Hall has created a carbon masterpiece of simplicity and purposeful features. The Team will sell for $3499, the Pro for $2599, and the frameset with headset will be $1599. The frame weight is 1200 grams; the fork “tips the scales” @ 480g. The frame features a BB-30 aluminum shell that is bonded into the carbon frame, with no openings, allowing no water to get to the sealed bearings. The pierced rear brake posts are supported by the entire seat-stay, creating a no-flex brake. All of the cables are internal reducing contaminants getting in, and creating a clean look. The sturdy fork is a tapered 1 1/8” to 1 1/2”, with a carbon steer tube and great mud clearance. The future will involve disc brakes, and Redline is ready with pre-curved chainstays with post mounts ready for a disc brake to attach. The rear end is configured for a 130mm spaced hub, and an intended 140mm brake rotor and the cable guides are already in place for a hydraulic brake line.

Pre-season orders are being taken right now, so please contact your local Redline dealer.
