Redlines Justin Lindine came west to Monterey, CA to race Mountain and Cyclo-cross bikes on and around the famous Laguna Seca race track. Fridays short track event had some of the best mountain bike racers on earth! It was a who’s-who of top mountain bike talent at the Sea Otter short track mountain bike race, as Olympic, World champs, national champs “toed the line” over the fast .7 mile course. 70 riders blitzed off the line at 11:30 am and were greeted by the warm California sun and a fast dry course. Justin got a call up to the second row and had a clean start. Continually moving forward, Justin made the front group with four laps to go, but got caught behind another rider crashing in front of him in the pea gravel section. Justin finished just 10 seconds off of the lead group in 15th place.
