The Super Nationals wrapped up in Desoto, TX on Sunday and we couldn’t be more proud of our elite powerhouse duo of Alise Post and Sam Willoughby!

After winning every race on Saturday, Sam continued the domination on Sunday, proving that it would take more than 40mph wind gusts to slow him down! With wins in all three qualifying rounds as well as the semi-final, he lined up for the finals feeling confident and ready. Sam took his Flight Team carbon straight to the front, winning the Answer "holeshot" award and first two mains with his closest competitor, US Olympian Conner Fields, scoring second and eighth. This gave Sam a huge points cushion going into the third main, as the winner is determined by the "total points" system. In the third and final main, Sam shot out front once again, but an extremely hot run by Conner put him back to second. Finishing with four points on the day, Sam secured his 5th straight victory, giving him an enormous lead in the USABMX National Series.

Alise had an incredible weekend as well, easily transferring into the final both days. Saturday’s first main saw Alise battling into the first turn with reigning USABMX National Champ, Dominique Daniels. After a few elbows were exchanged, Alise was looking at the backside of the first turn. Luckily for Alise, two seconds later Dominique went down as well, taking three other competitors with her. This gave Alise the opportunity to scramble to her bike and roll in for a fourth place finish. After winning main number two, Alise was in a virtual tie with fellow US Olympian, Brooke Crain. Another win in the third main gave Alise a hard fought, well deserved win!

On Sunday, Alise jumped out front in the first main once again, winning the Answer "holeshot" award, but a bit too much air on the final jump saw her go from first to third in the blink of an eye, getting passed by Brooke Crain and Aussie Olympian, Caroline Buchanan, and also proving the old adage correct…"You don’t score, until you score!" Alise learned her lesson quickly and came back to win the second and third mains (while manualing the last jump), giving her the overall win for the day and a points lead in the USABMX National Series as well.

With the season barely getting underway, it’s looking extremely bright for the Redline squad! We hope to continue the winning ways on the next stop of the USABMX Pro Series: the Tarheel Nationals at Hornet’s Nest BMX in Charlotte, NC, May 10-12.

We’d like to take the opportunity to thank our great co-sponsors: Answer BMX, Sun Ringle, Tioga, KMC chains, Kool Stop brake pads, XLC, and Pryme race gear. Their support keeps this show on the road! See you on the course!
